More on the Tesla roadster

The BBC ran a story on the tesla roadster recently - there's speculation that it'll be available in the UK for about £50,000 in 2008. Start saving :-)

Is this really feasible? As a motor racing nut and a would be envrionmentalist, I would love to see the sport clean up it's act if possible! :)
